Ghanaian musician Choirmaster arrived at the Accra International Airport from the United States as he returned home for the final funeral rites of his late wife, Beverly Afaglo.
A video shared on social media on July 28, 2026, showed the singer being welcomed by close friends and fellow entertainers. Among those at the airport were his longtime friend and music partner, Praye Tiatia, rapper Dr Cryme, and several other personalities from Ghana's entertainment industry.
The touching moment showed the pain Choirmaster is still going through after losing his wife. His friends gathered to support him and remind him that he is not facing this difficult time alone.
As soon as he arrived, Praye Tiatia and Dr Cryme hugged the emotional musician and offered words of encouragement. Choirmaster appeared deeply saddened as he tried to hold back his tears while receiving comfort from those around him.
